Social media manager - Facebook and Instagram

About the volunteer position

We at Nordic Ukraine Forum manage several social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube. Our Facebook and Instagram accounts have the largest number of followers compared to other Ukrainian NGO:s in Sweden. We are using these accounts to spread our own initiatives and news, but also other's events and initiatives that are relevant to our target audience and to our cause. We get many requests from other organizations in Sweden/Stockholm asking to spread their information. We also get questions on different topics (life in Sweden, ways to support Ukraine etc) from our followers. Currently we need support in managing our Facebook and Instagram accounts and are looking for several volunteers who are interested in helping us with that.

Assignment

• Create posts about Nordic Ukraine Forum's upcoming events, reports on the carried out events etc.
• Create posts/stories about events and information that are relevant to our target audience
• Manage our incoming messages (answer or forward to relevant person in Nordic Ukraine Forum)
• Share information about our upcoming events in relevant Facebook groups

About you:

• Available at least 2 hours per week

• Languages: Ukrainian and English (Swedish is a big plus, but optional)

• You are good at writing in a short and clear manner

• You have some experience working with Meta Buisness Suite, SMM (optional)

Important: this is a volunteer position with no monetary remuneration.
